If there is one thing Chicagoans love more than unseasonably summer-like temperatures in March, it’s a good street festival. Sally Schwartz, the Chicago Vintage Market Pioneer, announces Randolph Street Market’s second market in her first annual Wonderful Winter Market Series in March, bringing vintage aficionados the best Winter Markets in Chicago March 24-25. The February 4-5 Show, focusing on “Passion and Vanities” was well received by attendees.
Perfect for families who want to take advantage and sleep in on the weekend, show times are Saturday, noon- 6pm and Sunday, 10 am -5pm at Beaux Arts Plumber’s Hall, 1340 W. Washington Street.
This weekend’s “Spring Fling” on Randolph Street will feature easter activities for children and adults including an on-site Easter bunny and hidden Easter eggs containing Market Bucks and Summer Season Passes to Randolph Street Markets. In addition, expect jellybean-bright flora and fauna, tulips galore, decorating, floral arrangement and entertaining tips, chocolate bunnies, Easter eggs, and a visual and edible shopping feast. Clamoring for Spring and fully embracing the spirit of the season, Style Guru Ramsey Jay Prince will be on hand to offer a floral arrangement demonstration.
The shows will also boast onsite free downtown furniture delivery, a re-upholstery station, consignment to make room for new purchases, along with the addition of several Chicago based foodie vendors and relaxation specialists to treat our guests to the finer things in life! There will be a great mix of 75 vendors at each Market selling art, antiques, fashion, knick-knacks, furniture, and more.
